Biography:

On September 6th, 1992, Christian was born to a soon to be single mother; his dad didn’t stick around long enough to even see Christian’s 2nd month. Christian could care less about the sperm donor though, he had his mom and that was enough of a support system for the young boy.

Born and raised in Sydney, Australia, things weren’t always easy, but because of his mother, he never knew how difficult things were as a kid. His mother did her best to convince him everything was ok, and that they were never struggling. He believed every word, in fact with the way his mother told things, he felt like a millionaire.

When he was 13, only then did he begin to realize things were not as his mother made it appear to be. The income his mom was earning did not work well to support both her and her growing son, so he went to his mom and asked (more like told) if he could get a job. His mom didn’t want him to focus on much more than school, but forever supportive of whatever her son wanted to do, she told him if it didn’t interfere with school, he could go and get one.

After being turned down by various jobs he found one at a dance studio. All he did was clean rooms and wash towels after everything was done with, but as he grew older so did his responsibilities, and he did things such as sign people up for classes, accept payment, make sure some of the electrical equipment was working right, which he was really good at; if something wasn’t working right, Christian was your guy.

All the while though, he discovered a passion. Granted when he started at the studio he wasn’t a dancer, the reason he took the job was because they would take a 13 year old and it was off the books so he didn’t have taxes taken out of his check. However being able to observe some of the classes, he was mesmerized by how many of the dancers moved. He would mimic them in his spare time, and occupy one of the rooms to go over routines when he was the one to close up. He even began to b-boy, and had a knack for picking up things quickly after he had seen it done.

He never thought dance could be a career until he was caught one night by the owner of the studio. Automatically thinking he was in huge trouble (people payed money to practice in the studio), he began to apologize profusely. However, all the owner said was ‘do it again’. After Christian had dance two or three more times, the owner was impressed and asked Christian if he ever thought about working as a dance. He of course, was skeptical.

As soon as it was explained to him that they didn’t mean stripping, Christian was very into the idea, so the owner told him to record himself dancing and that they would send it out to a few of the contacts the owner had and see what happens. Christian didn’t think twice.

He and his mom waited for a long time, months. She didn’t even pressure Christian to enroll in university because she was so sure he could make it as a dancer. No word came, and Christian being the more realistic of the two, lost hope.

His mother didn’t though and suggested that her son try and be an idol or a backup dancer in Korea. There was no way in hell that Christian wanted to be an idol, but back up dancer, he could totally do!

Maybe blindly travelling to Korea at 19 wasn’t the best idea, but things ended up better then it could’ve. He found a dance crew and joined up with them which got him a few TV gigs. He taught English for a steady income and was doing great, until he broke his ankle.

He obviously couldn’t dance with a screwed up ankle and now he was 21, no education, the only job was the English teaching job and the problem with that was he couldn’t get paid as much as a certified teacher. He considered going back to Sydney, but he didn’t want to seem like he failed by going back home, so he came up with what he thought was a brilliant idea, but then shot it down himself because handicapped stripping was an awful idea. He called his mom and she suggested university.

He applied to a lot of schools in Korea, mostly in Seoul where he lived, and a few in other parts of the country. He finally got accepted to Yonsei, and two other schools, but since Yonsei was his first choice for their emphasis on diversity, he went with that over all the others.

So now he was in school, undeclared major and a bum ankle still, what was he supposed to do? He figured out he was good at teaching so an Education major was good, and he could minor in dance when he healed up, but something was missing. Oh right a normal college social life.

He totally ended up pledging by accident. He found himself at a lot of AGR parties it seemed, made a few friends with them and Zetas, before he knew it he was rushing for AGR, going through some hazing task to prove himself worthy and he guess that’s what puts him in the spot he is today. He doesn’t regret it, just wishes he knew exactly how he ended up being in AGR.

Social Butterfly: Christian likes talking to people, he likes being around people and hates being alone. If he finds himself in a room full of strangers you bet he’ll try to make a friend out of someone.

His Ankle Is Fine Now: It’s been awhile he’s good now, he hobbled around on crutches and then a cane, but it’s good aside from the occasional ache he might get which is permanent damage. Doesn’t stop him from dancing though. Plus occasionally he’ll use the cane because it’s tricked out and awesome.

Chewy and Spock: He is a Star Wars fan, and a closet Trekkie fan. This brings up his pets (he’s an animal lover) Chewy is a Pekingese female who is his baby at the moment and Spock is a male welsh corgi who he’s had even before he entered Yonsei. However he keeps them in a kennel mostly because having two dogs while he’s living in the frat is crazy. He does however walk them every day and even goes on runs. Shirtless even.

Gym Rat: Speaking of going out on runs, he doesn’t miss a day of working out. He’ll drag his ass to the gym hung over if he has too, I mean set aside the fact that it helps him get rid of his hangovers. If he can’t make it to the gym he has a pull up bar he can use and will just work out in his room.

Bilingual: He’ll teach you English, he’ll improve your Korean, for a price of course, it doesn’t have to be money, in fact sometimes he’ll refuse money, and it just has to be something he can use. You can find that out for yourself.

Accent: You can’t hear it when he speaks Korean, but when he speaks English it’s there, and it’s clear and no he won’t talk in English just so you can hear it.

It’s Broked: He likes to sometimes fix things that have been broken, it’s a hobby, and he has fun with it. Give him your broken crap and he’ll figure something out. He has a boom box flower pot. Legit.

Snapbacks and Tattoos... And braces?!: Yes he does like hats, but he does have tats in places, and he does in fact did have braces! He wasn't ashsamed but he's gotten then removed.

Sydney: He went back to Sydney for a great opportunity and to assist him mom a bit, he felt a bit homesick for Yonsei, and now he feels a bit homesick for Sydney. There's no winning. At least being able to do a lot of his classes online has helped him keep up, and even get ahead a bit.
